Psychological Evaluation and Testing
Dr. Hanania utilizes the most current and scientifically validated instruments to diagnose a wide variety of behavioral, emotional and learning problems experienced by children and adolescents. Psychological evaluations can be performed for children as young as 2 years and 6 months up through young adult. Dr. Hanania has extensive experience working with children with many types of developmental challenges and needs. Comprehensive interpretive reports detail all findings that link directly to treatment recommendations.
Independent Psychoeducational Evaluations for school are also provided. Parents who feel an evaluation provided by their school district is inaccurate can obtain an independent evaluation at school district expense. Dr. Hanania provides independent evaluations for many school districts across the Phoenix Metro area.
Some parents feel more comfortable obtaining these evaluations in a completely private and confidential manner. Unlike many psychologists practicing in the Valley, Dr. Hanania will attend school meetings and consult with your child’s teachers.
Therapy and Intervention
Dr. Hanania provides the type of therapeutic intervention that is short-term and problem focused. Individual counseling with children and adolescents as well as training parents to be the most effective change agents in their children’s lives are integral parts of the therapeutic process.
Insurance
At the present time Dr. Hanania does not accept any third party payments. Payment for all services are due at the time the service is delivered. However, many evaluation and therapy services may be eligible for reimbursement if your plan includes out of network benefits.
