Kid Assist is able to provide high quality basic, comprehensive and independent psychoeducational evaluations for school districts and charter schools. We have extensive experience providing services to schools and understand the laws that govern special education. Additionally, we have broad experience with the types of children who pose the most challenges. In such situations, Functional Behavioral Assessments and consultations have been sought to develop effective intervention plans. We have specific expertise with children who display severe behavioral, emotional and/or learning disabilities as well as expertise with students with severe developmental and multiple disabilities. We stand by our evaluations.
Kid Assist can also provide a variety of in-service workshops designed to increase your instructional staff’s skills in the areas of behavior management, crisis intervention, and functional behavioral assessment. All services are available on a daily, half-day or hourly basis. Evaluations are also offered on a flat-fee basis. Please call or send an e-mail to obtain the current fee schedule.
It is the practice of Kid Assist to function as a part of the Multidisciplinary team in each school district it serves. Therefore, prior to beginning assessments for a district, school district personnel such as the Special Education Director, building psychologist, building special education personnel, and building principal will be contacted to establish effective working relationships.
Lastly, Kid Assist is slowly building a group of highly qualified and competent psychologists who are either certified school psychologists or licensed psychologists to respond to the increasing needs of school districts in the Valley.
